After feeling like I failed at breastfeeding with my first, I went on to feed my second for 2 years and my third for 2.5 years. I am still in awe that my body could nourish and heal other little beings for a total of 5.5 years! I believe every mom should give herself pats on the back for things she never imagined she’d do.
I have been known to glue toast that's been cut the wrong way with honey and saved toddlers on the verge of self-combustion.
